Heritage Funerals is proud to serve our local Sikh community meeting the individual needs of your family and specific needs
and respect for the Sikh religious beliefs and culture.

We can put you in touch with a priest who will liaise with you to ensure all the traditional customs are carried out, should you need it. We will provide a full list of the items you will need to complete the ritual washing and dressing at our premises.

Our aim is to work closely with your family immediately following the passing of a loved one in order to get the relevant documentation and funeral arrangements in place so the funeral and cremation can take place at a time of your choosing.

We are able to offer the use of our mortuary facilities for up to 10 family members for the washing and dressing of your loved one, as is customary for some families, or alternatively, we are able to prepare your loved one on your family’s behalf.

Heritage’s Chapel of Rest is available for the paying of respects from friends and family in the days leading up to the funeral. We will arrange for your loved one’s funeral to be held at the local Gurdwara before the cremation and committal service at the crematorium.

We, Heritage Funerals, are committed to delivering an authentic, caring and unique farewell which delivers and values the religious and cultural rituals of every Sikh family.
